Free Sunday Concert Series Begins July 4 in Cold Spring-on-Hudson

Cold Spring-on-Hudson will host the third annual "Summer Sunday Sunset Music Series" beginning July 4, complete with views of West Point fireworks. The concerts are free to the public and take place every Sunday through August 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the historic village's riverfront bandstand, which offers majestic views of West Point and Storm King Mountain on the west banks of the Hudson River. Free parking is available on village streets and in the nearby Metro-North train station parking lot.

"We're delighted to be hosting the third year of this popular concert series, and we've got a variety of great bands lined up," said Jonathan Kruk, President, Cold Spring/Garrison Area Chamber of Commerce. "The only change is that we're starting one hour earlier this year, at 6 p.m., as past attendees told us they would like to browse the unique shops along Main Street before settling in to hear the music. We look forward to entertaining hundreds of area residents and visitors. And we're grateful in advance for the thoughtful donations that will benefit the Cold Spring Volunteer Fire Department."
