By Car:
Manhattan - GW Bridge - Take
Palisades Parkway North to end - Bear Mountain Bridge Circle. 1/2 way
around circle and over Bear Mountain Bridge ($1 toll). Left onto Route
9D North - continue 8 miles - left onto Main Street, Cold Spring.
Taconic Parkway - Exit Route 301
West - Right onto Route 301 - 8 miles into the Village of Cold Spring.
Route 84 East from PA - over the
Newburgh-Beacon Bridge (stay to right) - take 1st exit, Route 9D South (Exit
11) - Right onto Route 9D South. Continue for 6 miles, through tunnel,
another 2 miles to right at traffic light onto Main Street, Cold Spring.
Route 84 West from CT - Exit
13S, Route 9 South - Continue 5 miles to 2nd traffic light to right
onto route 301 - 2 miles into the Village of Cold Spring.
Palisades Parkway from NJ -
North on the Palisades Parkway to the end. Go half way around the
traffic circle and go over the Bear Mountain Bridge ($1 toll) - left on to
Route 9D North. 8 miles to left onto Main Street, Cold Spring.
Parking: Visitors my park for
free on village streets or in the municipal lot on Fair Street (4th right
off Main Street) - 1/4 mile on left.
On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, visitors may also park for free in the
Metro-North commuter parking lot. Make the 4th left off Main Street
onto Lunn Terrace, over railroad overpass, turn left onto Market Street and
go 1000' into the parking lot.
